1. Service provider
These terms form the agreement between you and Irish Driving Test Finder, trading as Irish Driving Test Finder, when you buy or use the service.
- Email: [email protected]
2. What the service provides
You choose supported test centres and the dates and times that suit you. The selected plan then monitors for a potentially suitable appointment within those preferences.
Notify
Notify sends an email when a potentially suitable appointment appears. You decide whether it is suitable and remain responsible for any action taken in MyRoadSafety. A notification does not reserve or hold an appointment, and the appointment may no longer be available when you check.
Managed AutoBook
AutoBook is for a customer who already has an existing MyRoadSafety appointment. By selecting AutoBook, you authorise us to reschedule that appointment when an available option matches the centres, dates and times you supplied. We email you after a managed reschedule. You must verify the updated appointment in MyRoadSafety and in the RSA confirmation.
Only the plan description and price shown at checkout form part of your purchase. Hidden, retired or unavailable plans are not offered.
3. What you need to provide
You must provide accurate account, booking and preference information. AutoBook requires an existing appointment and the MyRoadSafety details needed to manage it. You confirm that you are the account holder or have lawful authority from the account holder.
You are responsible for keeping your preferences current, protecting your account password and telling us promptly if your booking or availability changes. Using another automated cancellation service at the same time may create conflicting booking actions or access limits. We are not responsible for a missed or conflicting result caused by inaccurate details, another service or activity outside our control.
4. RSA rules, eligibility and availability
The RSA controls applications, invitations, test centres, appointment supply, rescheduling rules and MyRoadSafety. Its current terms apply to your official booking. You are responsible for:
- being eligible to take the test on any selected date;
- completing required training and holding the correct learner permit;
- understanding any rescheduling or cancellation limits and fees;
- arranging a suitable insured vehicle and required documents; and
- attending the correct centre on time.
We do not guarantee that an earlier appointment will appear, remain available or be successfully rescheduled. Weather, RSA maintenance, access restrictions, appointment demand and other events outside our control can affect the service.
5. Price and payment
Prices are shown in euro and are charged as a one-time payment through Stripe. There is no subscription unless a future checkout clearly states otherwise. You see the total price before leaving for Stripe checkout.
A timed or discounted price applies only when the checkout shows a genuine active reduction from the normal price. Once a payment is completed, a later price change does not alter that purchase.
6. When monitoring starts
At checkout, you ask us to begin supplying the service after payment rather than waiting until the end of the statutory cancellation period. Monitoring can begin only when the payment and the information required for your selected plan are available. If information is missing, your account may show that setup is required and AutoBook will not operate until the required details are saved.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Your statutory consumer rights are not limited by these terms. For an online service contract, a 14-day cancellation period may apply from the day the contract is made. If you expressly ask us to begin during that period and then cancel before the service is fully performed, you may be charged a proportionate amount for the service supplied before cancellation. If the service has been fully performed after your express request and acknowledgement, the statutory right to cancel may end.
Separate rights may apply if the service is not supplied as agreed. Full details and cancellation instructions are in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
8. Email communications
Service alerts, receipts, security messages and booking updates are sent by email. You are responsible for entering a working email address and checking spam, promotions and filtered folders. Email delivery depends on third-party networks and providers, so a message can be delayed or blocked.
Marketing email is optional and can be unsubscribed from without ending essential messages connected with an active order or account security.
9. Accounts and acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with monitoring, submit another person's information without authority or use the service for an unlawful purpose. We may pause or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the service or third-party systems.
10. Personal data
We use personal data to provide the service, process payment, support your account, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Sensitive booking credentials are handled for the purpose authorised by you. See the Privacy Policy for the data collected, recipients, retention and your rights.
11. Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for an appointment being unavailable, an RSA rule or system changing, a user being ineligible, a message being filtered, or an event caused by a third party outside our reasonable control.
You should verify every official booking in MyRoadSafety. The service does not provide driving tuition, a vehicle, insurance or legal advice.
12. Changes and ending the service
We may update the service or these terms when reasonably necessary for security, law, payment processing or changes to RSA systems. A material change affecting an active paid service will be communicated where required. The version accepted at checkout is recorded with the order.
13. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Irish law. This does not remove any mandatory protection that applies to you under consumer law. Please contact [email protected] first if you have a concern so we can investigate it.
